The 2024 Best Law Firm Rankings
The rankings for 2024 include over 97,000 client submissions and 2.8 million Best Law Firm votes. This includes over 13.7 million evaluations of over 23,000 firms. The rankings feature a combination of high-quality law practices and the “full breadth of legal expertise” that are standard for Best Lawyers consideration. (2)
This year’s rankings awarded Best Law Firms national recognition to 2,202 firms. In addition, 16,324 firms were named Best Law Firms for their regional standing. Also, 64 firms were designated “Law Firm of the Year” across the 75 practice areas ranked nationally. (3)

Best Lawyers evaluates law firms based on the various litigation practices the firm handles. Firms can also receive rankings nationally and regionally.

Best Law Firms collects client and lawyer evaluations and peer reviews from leading attorneys in their noted fields. It also reviews supplementary information provided by law firms during the formal submission process.
