From 2017-2020, Ms. Burns was selected as a “Top 40 Under 40” Trial Lawyer nationally by the National Trial Lawyers Association and from 2016-2019, she was named as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers. She has been a speaker at several national trial attorney conferences including the Plaintiffs Asbestos Litigation Conference.
She obtained her Juris Doctorate from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where Ms. Burns was an active member of the mock trial team, competing in several national mock trial competitions. She received her undergraduate degree from San Diego State University. She is a member of the California State Bar, as well as U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Northern and Central Districts of California.
